Chinee Inflatables

What are the differences in material and process between the inflatable water model and the air model on land?

The design and usage scenarios of inflatable water molds and land-based air molds differ, which leads to distinctions in their materials and craftsmanship.

Firstly, in terms of materials, inflatable water molds require higher waterproof performance and resistance to water immersion. Therefore, materials such as PVC film or PVC-coated fabric, which are more durable and have superior waterproof properties, are often used. In contrast, while land-based inflatable molds also require durability, their waterproof requirements are relatively lower. Thus, materials like Oxford cloth or plain weave nylon, in addition to the aforementioned materials, can be used.

Secondly, regarding craftsmanship, the manufacturing process of inflatable water molds needs to consider more factors, such as waterproof layer treatment and buoyancy design. Since continuous inflation is not possible on water, these molds need to be fully inflated and sealed with a plug. These special craftsmanship treatments ensure the stability and safety of water molds in aquatic environments, utilizing techniques like high-frequency welding or heat sealing. Examples include inflatable water walking balls, water roller balls, inflatable water bounce, and water jumping bags, all of which are products made with high-frequency heat sealing.

On the other hand, land-based inflatable molds emphasize shape, structural stability, and durability. These can be continuously inflated or sealed after inflation, allowing for both stitching and high-frequency heat sealing techniques. For instance, inflatable arches and castles use stitching, while inflatable balls such as bumper balls and grass zorb balls utilize high-frequency heat sealing processes.

Additionally, the inflation structure and support systems may vary. Inflatable water molds might require more robust support structures to withstand water currents, whereas land-based molds prioritize stability and wind resistance.

In summary, there are significant differences in the materials and craftsmanship of inflatable water molds and land-based air molds. These differences are primarily to accommodate the unique environmental and functional demands of each type.
